Telemonitoring

monitoring

DESCRIPTION

Telemonitoring is set to improve the lives of all those people who wish/need to control their vital signs on a continuous basis, avoiding having to visit professional centres for a greater quality of life. The solutions we have designed are easy to use by anyone and give them greater self-sufficiency, as they can be fitted with the sensor that measures their vital signs whilst they are doing something else.

These features of mobility and ubiquity make it ideal for use with chronic patients, postoperative cases and people whose job or hobbies require individual monitoring (amateur sports men and women, travelling service staff, etc.) who do not want their ability to go out to be constrained by the need to undergo regular check-ups or readings in a specific place or at a specific time.

The telemonitoring of users allows for readings to be taken of their vital signs (pulse, glucose, SPO, ECG, breathing rate...) on a continuous basis. To do so, the user connects up to the sensor and the mobile device constantly makes an intelligent local analysis, communicating with the specialist care centre solely in the event of an emergency or specific request. This local intelligent request will be personalised for each individual and furthermore may be remotely modified at any time to bring it in line with any changes in the person’s health.

Telemonitoring provides constant control of pregnant women, chronic patients, sports men and women, etc. The data may be consulted on the web information manager (extranet) by professionals, relatives and users.
