DESCRIPTION
Saludnova has developed specific solutions for use at home, in residential homes, kindergartens and buildings in general, which control both the premises and people in order to avoid accidents or people wandering off. The solutions provided by Saludnova’s Intelligent Environment are designed to make everyday life easier for users and carers alike.The very nature of intelligent environment premises makes them ideally suited for use in the remote care and control of people at risk (the elderly, the disabled, Alzheimer’s sufferers, children...)
The Intelligent Environment proposed by Saludnova combines existing services (remote alarm, telemetry and telemonitoring) with the sphere of home automation. The purpose is to merge the approach taken by home automation systems (which enable the user to have better control of their home) with our own services. This service provides a personalised and intelligent control not only of the user but also of their surrounding environment. This reinforces the safety of users in their homes.
OPERATION
Remote alarm: Saludnova has a control system for people with an impaired sense of direction to avoid them wandering off or getting lost. Users carry a device that alerts the centre if they leave the authorised area. This preventive alarm system is ideal because it warns when the wanderer attempts to enter unauthorised or potentially dangerous areas, even outside the facility and on group trips, such as to museums, the cinema or outings. Telemetry/Telemonitoring: If the user faints for whatever reason (variables imbalance, e.g.: diabetics) and the cooker is on, an alarm is triggered that switches off the cooker to avoid a fire.
